Bei reinen eBook-Lesegeräten sieht es gerade so aus, als wären sie ohne Farbdisplay, z.B. der Kindle bleibt ohne Farbe:

Ich vermute mal, wenn es einen handlicheren iPad mit 6 Zoll geben sollte, könnte er die meisten Ebooklesegeräte verdrängen, weil er einfach mehr zum Spielen anbietet, im Sinne von spielerischem Lesevergnügen.
Im Comicbereich sollen die Marvel Comics gigantisch auf dem iPad sein und viele würden den iPad nur wegen den guten Comics kaufen z.B.

Die Frage ist für mich, ob die Technik der ebook-Lesegeräte mit der Konkurrenz mithalten kann oder einfach für das Massenpublikum zu altbacken wird.
