Hesse, Hermann: In the old Sun. v1. 18 Mar 2012

Hermann Hesse is a German-Swiss writer best known for his novels Steppenwolf, Siddhartha, and The Glass Bead Game.
"In the old Sun" is one of his earlier short stories about 4 very different old age pensioners who, for various reasons, end up in the poorhouse of a small German town.

This 1914 translation was taken from the PG version of "The German Classics of the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries" (Project Gutenberg EBook #30941)
