Voltaire: Candide, v.1, 30 June 2007

Voltaire, 'Candide' (1759)
Translated, and with an Introduction by Philip Littell.

A novella which demonstrates that we live in the best of all possible worlds - despite war, earthquakes, injustice etc. Could this be irony?

I've done some reformatting and added a TOC. The pictures came with the PG text.
