Update: I spammed the power button out of frustration and I think it triggered a bios refresh or something. I finally escaped the brick for now.
I think the screen was blank because it got stuck on a crashed version of Koreader. In the future I still want to try having Koreader on my kindle. If you guys have any advice on why my Koreader crashed please let me know thanks.
