Note that you can't use the s-for-secure. If you go https: etc, nothing loads. So the validator is one of the few websites that kicks up a security warning!

There is also an epub validator you can download, paginaEPUBchecker. But I prefer the online version despite the security warning.

(Just sotte voce between the two of us, I upload the same epub to the KDP platform as to the rest of the world, though without an included cover, and have never had a problem with the images. I do not however enroll my books in Kindle Select.)
