I just finished reading it (The hundred thousand kingdoms) and this story was like no other Fantasy I've read before. The way she writes was both confusing and interesting. It felt fresh and different and I didn't have to get far into the book before I was hooked.
And for this to be her (N. K. Jemisin) debut book
