I'm a strong proponent of the Jim Baen theory of DRM in books... that is, they do NOT belong together.
There is no DRM that can't be cracked, first off, so if you're popular enough to make a living at writing, pirated copies will be easily available no matter what.
More importantly, however, lending of books is a LONG and proudly traditional way to discover new authors. Nothing I ever have full control over will come saddled with DRM.
