I read my first one before seeing the movie, "Star Trek Movie Tie In" by Alan Dean Foster, liked both of them (ebook and movie !).
Now I'll read "Star Trek : The Motion Picture" by Gene Roddenberry, and then see the DVD I just ordered !

(Had the VHS tape, some years ago, but I didn't keep my videorecorder, so...
