If it needed to be partitioned (it does not - don't even try)

Then the system would rebuild it during a cold boot.
So, it isn't corrupted enough (yet).
Plus - how long have you waited for the boot process to complete?
That storage is on a flash device - it takes a very long time for the file system checker to test and repair the file system on it.
