Why save paper? It's a renewable resource. We are NOT running out of it. We are NOT cutting down hardwood forests for paper. We are using softwood grown especially for paper, pencils, plywood, etc. We ARE planting more trees every year (that mature in three years) than we cut. Trees are no different than pineapples (which take two years to grow a single one.) They are a renewable crop. We are not running out of them and never will. Sorry, but this is one of my pet peeves.

Ugh. Reduce is the first of the three R's not recycle. Just think of the energy consumed in producing that much paper and the land we kill the habitat for animals for. That is my pet peeve. Recyling is not going to save us.
