That's what I was looking for.
This is common GUI selection in Windows and Linux.

Click the first to highlight, then:

Hold the Shift key and click the last item (you want) in the list to select the RANGE.

Hold the Ctrl Key and click each (randomly placed) Item, you want individually. If you click it a second time, it de-selects that item.
