Judging by the lack of responses, I'd say this is still a tough-sell in the West. Mind you, it does sound like a fairly involved process just to get the software onto your phone... it would be nice if the telcos could load Tequilacat onto the cellphone when you buy it, at least.
I wonder if SW like that is loaded onto Eastern cellphones, or left to the owners to download and install it themselves? If it's preloaded, that might help explain the easier adoption of phone reading in the East...
