Quote:
Amazon has launched a new marketplace for art lovers.

The company on Tuesday announced Amazon Art, a new marketplace featuring more than 40,000 works of fine art from 150 galleries and dealers. The marketplace includes works from more than 4,500 artists, and features everything from drawing and ink to paintings.

The range of prices offered in Amazon Art is quite something. The marketplace offers Clifford Ross works for just $200, but is also selling pieces from Monet and Norman Rockwell that go for $1.45 million and $4.85 million, respectively.
And people used to think of Microsoft as the Borg...

Fine art as dry goods.
Might work.
