You could try adding a registry entry for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager\kernel\obcaseinsensitive
(dword:0) and see if it helps. I've only used it in conjunction with Cygwin, so I don't know if it'll actually help in your case.
