Kindle has a page turn feature without animation - just click on lower left or right corner. Also, you can
turn pages via button remap of page buttons to space bar.

TaskSwitcher, which give me a very comforable way of multitasking on my rooted T1:

Single press on home button -> show all running and recently used apps, double press -> Home screen
AWD Launcher is my default Home screen app. I put a link to Sony Homescreen on the desktop.
There's no need for Bar Shortcut anymore.
