There are various utilities you can use to calculate a md5sum for a file. If you are using windows, this one from
Nirsoft will work. Or
this one from Bullzip is handy since it adds it to your context menu and you can just right click on the file from Windows Explorer. These aren't particularly recommended over others, there are probably hundreds of utilities that will work.
