And also far less capable. You cant use the full calibre search functionality, virtual libraries, multiple libraries, offline mode, command line access, tag browser, customizable book lists, SSL.
And the web reader is also far less capable, based as it is on epub.js. Not to mention completely insecure, since as far as I know epub.js does nothing to isolate javascript in the book from accessing everything else, which means malicuous scripts int he book can do anything including deleting all the books in your library, or uploading information about all the books you read to someone else.
About the only thing it does that the calibre server does not do is a couple of library modification functions (adding/deelting/converting), which will be added to the calibre server soon enough.
You like it, feel free to use it. It is nowhere near suitable for use as the actual content server.
