I understand that even though I choose over write duplicates in preferences, the system does not over write the metadata nor comments.

Is there a setting that controls over-writing of metadata and comments on duplicates?

Is there a plugin that will allow me to choose to over write metadata and comments?

If there is not, could this be considered as a future option to the Adding Books Preferences?
