Version 1.0.31- Many enhancements.
Version 1.0.31- Many enhancements.
Many functionality enhancements related to FTPing of a book to a host (server or device), including deleting a book that was previously FTPd. Many different FTP settings are now supported to enable different users in a multi-user environment to FTP to different target devices or servers.
CalibreSpy will automatically change itself to "entirely read-only" mode if it is using a Calibre Library that it thinks is on a network so that even CalibreSpy's own settings will remain "read-only".
The Calibre GUI icon for CalibreSpy now has a dropdown arrow with options to start CalibreSpy in 'normal' mode or 'entirely read-only' mode. In a multi-user environment, 'normal' mode may automatically be changed to 'entirely read-only' mode if the user executing CalibreSpy is not the first user to use a particular Library at that instant.
New CLI command file option to arbitrarily force "entirely read-only" mode:
calibre-debug -r "CalibreSpy" -- --"S:\Calibre\CalibreJobSpyTest1" --ros
calibre-debug -r "CalibreSpy" -- --ros .
The "ros" means "read-only settings". CalibreSpy is always read-only for book data. The "ros" makes CalibreSpy's own Library-specific settings read-only too.
See the new CalibreSpy.bat command file template for permutations of the options shown above.
The CLI option of --ros should always be used for network paths.
