Regarding categories, The Books of Magic should be at the graphic novels section (not fantasy), while Gibson's Neuromancer, Dick's Valis and The Divine Invasion, Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and Star Trek New Frontier should be at the sci-fi (not fantasy).
Sometimes the line between sci-fi and fantasy is blurry, but these cases are kind of obvious.
