I've searched around and can't find exactly the information I need.

I have several books that are in US public domain, published before 1923.
However, the author did not die until 1976.

Are these books considered to be public domain in Canada also?

If not, how exactly do I upload them? I understand that MR has a US server available, but how do I access that?
