On the Sony Librie I found an upper limit of about 16MB for LRF files, files above that size crashed the Librie. I haven't tested the Sony Reader to see if it handles larger files yet.

Are you interested in the ability to press the resize button and have the pages reflow to the new font size? I ask because I have another LRF ebook binder that does non-reflow with links and <img> tag support. I haven't released it because the <img> tag support needs some more work. My benchmark 50MB of HTML content (with images) is turned into a 16mb LRF file in 17 seconds on my Macbook Pro.

If you are attempting to produce an LRF for the SOS Project I'd be interested in dusting the code off and seeing if I can produce the LRF file with it.
