FYI.
I tried the suggestion by Kranu above. It sort of works. When I connect the Kindle to the USB, the Kindle shows the Duokan USB connect screen. The PC shows the USB drive but I can't seem to write anything to the drive. I was also not able to "safely remove" the drive. My kindle also hung and I had to do a reset.
It could be my setup. So in case tries it, this is what I found.
Thanks to all for the Duokan lite setup instructions. It worked like a charm.
