I just joined yesterday, because I had a problem of course. I am using nook classic, sideloading with calibre. This was successful for a while (I posted my problem question on the Nook forum) but it's clear that ebook readers are not trouble-free. It's a new world, with a lot of variation, and a lot of limits for users who just want to read ebooks from many sources. I bought the nook because it uses epub, sort of. I understand there are problems transferring books bought from B&N on the Classic to the newer Simple Touch - formats are not compatible.

I'm happy to be here with knowledgable, helpful people.
