Pinch to zoom and double tap, but pinch gives the better result. I don't tend to use the browser that much, it's a bit small to be "comfortable " to use on any 6" device (especially when you have a 10 inch tablet) but it is useful when I don't have my tablet with me. I use the browser mostly for getting ebooks wirelessly using the Calibre server.
