Mine had just the one blob when it arrived, like yours (though mine was greenish), and it took about three days to fade completely. My screen is completely blobless now. I don't know what made it fade; I didn't try the screen cleaning methods that other posters have mentioned, though I would have if it didn't go away on its own. It just seemed to gradually get fainter and fainter each time I switched it on, until it wasn't there anymore.
