I found a workaround, go to Settings, social, select Link to Facebook, Twitter and Google, then select Link Your Account under Google, select the very faint lines that say Can't Access Your Account under the box Sign In, then right at the bottom of the screen, second from the left are the words Google Home in very faint grey, select that. Then you will see the Google screen
