I have this exact same problem. I think it started a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't really notice until I wanted to access my archived items.

I was actually afraid that Amazon had decided to stop supporting the DX, so they were deactivating some of its functionality (Tivo did that to me with one of their older devices, so I'm gun-shy about being at the mercy of a company that has the ability to reach out and "update" a product that I purchased and (theoretically) legally own.).

Since several others in this thread have reported the same problem, and Amazon has not made such a statement, I'm guessing that some software change happened at Amazon's end, and they just didn't bother to test compatibility with an ancient device that few of their customers still use (I work in software, and every company I've worked at only tests against their more recent devices.).

So now what? I guess we all call tech support and hope that if they get enough complaints that they'll take a look at it?
