I don't know that this qualifies as a deal or a freebie but Kobo is currently running a contest open to everyone in the US and Canada (except Quebec):

For every ebook that you purchase from them, you are entered to win 1 of 10 Kobo eReaders. Each book purchase equals another entry. First draw (for the first 5 readers) is on 29 Apr. Second drawing will be 6 May.
