A rare opportunity for IE competitor to gain ground on the leader. Really with IE stucked at version 6 for sometime, the competitor has added quite a lot to the browser landscape. Opera/Mozilla/Firefox are both as stable (if not more so) as IE, they are faster, and offer integrated popup blocking, tab interface, and a lot more.

For the geeky crowd (that include most people who browse PDA related sites), IE has lost its luster, if only Opera doesn't identify itself as IE by Default, its number would have been much higher. But unfortunately, for the masses IE is still it... hopefully these type of news will let more people discover what else is out there...
