My DIY 950 Cover

I was feeling like getting a bit crafty tonight with my new 950 so started searching my shelves for the perfect hardback book to make into a cover. My reader currently has no cover since I currently have no additional money to spend on it and I hate carrying it around without some sort of cover.

Within 2 minutes of starting the search, I located a random journal bought from dollar general for $3 according to the cardboard bit attached to the front of it. It's pink and faux leather and is a temporary first attempt sort of fix. The faux leather is very thin so I do not think the button I sewed to the front will stay. I also glued the inside into the former journal backward so the back is pointing out and the bottom is a lot less clean and tidy then I would like :-( Well the whole thing needs help, but it'll do for now.

Still, here is iteration 1 of my DIY cover(I'll try again with spray glue and look through my fabric stash for a better quality outside. It does hold together really well. Since it was meant to be quick and dirty, I didn't bother with anything to hold the reader in the cover and with the side buttoned, I was able to shake it vigorously and the reader didn't even try to move within the cover. Here are a couple of pics. They are a bit dark since I forgot and left the flash off and didn't realize that until just now.
