We WANTS it, we does! I really really preferred the physical ergonomics of my REB1100 over the Sony Reader. The eInk screen and its improved readability is more important, so the Sony Reader is what I've been using for the past year. That said, I'd purchase the device you described in a heartbeat! At any price that wasn't too much more than the going rate for the Sony or the Bookeen Gen3.
