B&N's chairman, Len Riggio, is Publishing Weekly's Person of the Year. From the

That is a lot of Nook Colors, 500,000 or so for the holidays. Also:

Not really surprising, since this is their only potential advantage over Amazon. The question is whether anyone can make mainstream chain bookselling work in the US.
