People on cruise ships who don't get where they planned, but are not in danger is NOT a catastrophe. It is NOT a nightmare that the the world should feel sorry about. Children starving is a disaster. People dieing in plane crashes is a nightmare.

I do feel sorry for people who spend thousands of dollars to take a cruise and don't get their money's worth, it IS sad, but if you can afford to take a cruise, you can afford to take a loss. The world won't come to an end. Next time, spend the money to feed some starving kids. The kids LIVE a real nightmare every day. Even if they can't eat at the giant buffet table on the cruise ship, I'll bet they appreciate the rice and beans, even though it won't make headline news.
