Does look superficially like it's better in almost every way to the ipad. 449€ for the wifi only one is pretty tempting.
Only thing the ipad seems to better it at is the graphics chip and the battery life (although idevice battery life always plummets like a stone on intensive gaming). Full 1080p output is a massive bonus (provided this has the grunt power to decode 1080p vid files)
