In Kobo Clara HD, with KFmoon launcher for KOreader. I could not find that option.
In Kobo Clara HD, yes I found Menu > Settings > ...but there is no "advanced settings"
Could you please give more details where to find the "advance settings" you mentioned?
Is your reader a Clara HD?
