Your photography isn't so bad. The first one confirms what I thought all along about a pale frame. Look at the contrast! Even though we have a Vizplex display right under our eyes it looks darker than the older 500's with a greenish tinge to it. My preference would turn towards a flat black bezel if it were possible.
