All seriousness aside, I would have made a lousy lemming. I started reading the Harry Potter series, not because Oprah recommended it, but because friends did. There was one other book on her list I read, not because it was on the list, but because it was on a topic I was interested in (I was underwhelmed by it, btw).
Oprah, smoprah. She's a purveyor of quack medicine, pseudoscience and anti-vaccination conspiracy theories. It's depressing that anyone who promotes the kind of pseudoscientific guff she sometimes features on her show would have such widespread appeal.
