Do you really think that any ebook (maximum age at a library ~10 years) could come close to a book which has had 6 extra decades of library availability? And almost certainly many more copies available.
To even match The Very Hungry Caterpillar there would need to be 52 copies of the ebook checked out one time per day for 10 years straight. The Snowy Day would need ~134. Ebooks don't even register on this type of scale so its irrelevant. It might be relevant in another 5 decades.
