The texture is definitely different, the Touch is way smoother, can't quite think of what to compare the two textures to, or decide which I like better.
The Touch was, I found, very responsive, except when selecting or highlighting a word or a sentence. On the Glo, it is still the most difficult action, but I find it slightly easier than on the Touch, although I'm not entirely sure.
