Thank you very much for this collection and all the hard work that went into it. I'm just reading The Art of Fielding by Chad Harbach and Melville takes an importaint role within this novel, at least in chapters 6 and 7: A young athlete finds an unknown lecture from Melville in his school's library and becomes an importaint Melville scolar within the following years. Later in the novel we see that this guy, Guert Affenlight is his name, is the president of the college where the two main protagonists of the book - Mike Schwartz and Henry Skimshader - became friends. I'm really happy that I can look into Melville right now, he plays such an important role within Harbach's novel that I got very curious about his works.
