Hello to all --
Have just posted a new short ghost story called "The Back Row of the Balcony." It's available at the
Amazon Kindle store and at
Smashwords; from Smashwords it should find its way to B&N, Sony, Apple's iBook store and others some time fairly soon.
Description:
Decades ago, in the balcony of the West End Cinema, the police shot and killed a murderer; for years after that night the West End balcony regulars scared themselves and the younger kids with stories about the ghost of Straight-Razor Willie.
Now the West End is closing, scheduled for demolition. Peter Sloane will be there on the West End's last day; he'll step over the velvet rope holding the Balcony Closed sign, and go up the stairs to enjoy one more movie there as he had in his boyhood.
He thinks he'll be up there alone.
"The Back Row of the Balcony" is DRM-free, about 3000 words long, and is priced at 99 cents. The free sample at Smashwords is set at 50%, in case you're looking for a longer sample than the Kindle store provides. Give it a look if you get a chance, and I hope you'll enjoy it.
