I don't mind advertising. It kept my TV watching relatively low-cost (back when I still watched TV). Plus, I've managed to tune it out or else be immune to it. Even on the internet, I manage not to notice most banner advertising. However, if advertisers and marketers want to go this route, they better make the advertisements entertaining and/or artistic (I'm thinking of the Lynxjet advertisements on YouTube
).
