BTW, I bought a Pixel Qi screen for my laptop the day it came out and installed it into a Samsung Netbook to achieve the same end. I've used it for a year or two. The Pixel Qi screen DIY kit only works on older netbooks and it does not compare with the contrast of eInk for reading (no light is refreshing and better, but I find my eyes strained for another reason because of lack of contrast). But the real reason I'm searching for another solution is that my netbook machine is getting slow and is a pain to carry around and open and wait for Windows 7 to wake and allow me to input a note or reference a document.

So, I continue my search to find a powerful mobile system behind an eInk display.
