Samsung has reached its highest consumer perception rating in five years, while Apple's has dropped drastically over the same time period, according to YouGov BrandIndex.

After the verdict in a patent dispute between the companies in August, Samsung's score dropped to 3, but since then, the company's score increased to 35 (though it dropped to 30 today). Over the same brief time period, Apple decreased, dropping from 44 to 33, as of the time of writing this post.
