Und noch ein Geisterhaus, diesmal ein potenziell böswilliges, das Algernon Blackwood erfunden hat. (Ich habe erst gesehen, dass Blackwood 1951 gestorben ist, nachdem ich dieses Librivox-Hörbuch gehört habe
). Egal, ein zweites Mal wird es hier sowieso nicht geben, ich habe es nach dem Hören umweltfreundlich elektronisch recycelt. Was auch schon darauf hindeutet, dass es mir nicht wirklich gefallen hat. Alle Jahre wieder probiere ich es erneut mit einer viktorianischen Geistergeschichte, und wieder bin ich gescheitert, als es darum ging, sie wirklich zu mögen. Ich glaube, Blackwood ist einfach nichts für mich, Klassiker hin oder her. Eine gewisse Atmosphäre hat er in dieser Geschichte trotz allem geschaffen, sodass ich bis zum Schluss durchgehalten habe (es waren nur 47 Minuten).
