And there are good odds the announcement has nothing to do with tablets or ebooks, but rather XBOX and media. The most likely announcement, now that B&N is *totally* out of it (not even as a content partner) and given the Hollywood location is the long awaited XBOX TV-over-ip service. Other options are a portable gaming device (XBOX SURFACE?) or even a new XBOX console.
Any of the three would be truly major announcements.
Most everything else would be in the "meh", category and lead to a serious backlash from the press.
We'll know soon enough.
