im looking for something i can use to read. i read nonfiction, science and technical. mostly pdf. i read quite fast and want to get my speed up to what it was in university. i tried a sony prs-something years ago but was so small(6") and slow it went to the obsolete gadget box so im kind of turned off of e-ink. i like the hackability of android and was looking at the kindle 8.9 because of the lightness, size, res and reviews.

can any other speed readers direct me to look at other devices?
