I have the extended warranty on the Sony 505. I called them about the problem I was having and they emailed me the paperwork to send it for replacement. I shipped it right away, even paid extra for quicker delivery.
I know it arrived there Monday morning at 7:29 AM because I tracked it.
I emailed them for a status and they lied and said that it just arrived yesterday (Tuesday) and now they are not sending a replacement, they said that they didn't have one. So now I must wait until they repair it. They estimate the repair time as 5-6 business days.
I read about people receiving a replacement in 4 days, and that Sony even sent the replacement before receiving the broken one. Well it looks like those days are gone.
