So I downloaded one of them just for the heck of it. I picked a plain text file of Breakfast at Tiffany's. It was a 1.23 MB file named "Breakfast at Tiffanys .txt.exe". An AVG scan of the file didn't notice anything. It is a self-extracting archive. Opening it in Winrar, I found that it contained 4 files:
hstart.exe 44,040 bytes
setup.exe 1,267,733 bytes
start.bat 91 bytes
start.umf 350 bytes.
The comment in the file is:

Anyone have a sandbox they could try one of these in?
